On May 26, the group uploaded a special video for “Snap Shoot,” which is a b-side on their third studio album “An Ode.”The video is self-produced with Mingyu. He's credited as director, producer, director of photography, editor, gaffer, art director, 2D and stylist for the MV. He is the main photographer for the group, and takes breathtaking pictures of the band’s members that he shares online. He also took part in Seventeen’s exhibit “17’s Cut”, part of their third anniversary celebration, where his painting called Growing Pains was showcased. He mentioned before that it was the very first painting that he had ever worked on.
CARAT have known for a long time that Mingyu put a lot of interest in photography. The members acknowledge him as ‘the photographer of the team’ because the photos he took are very good and artistically pleasing. SEVENTEEN have released the preview of their self-produced magazine, GOING, on the Weverse shop. While preorders only start on February 15, Carats are invited to take a look at what will come with the magazine.
